April 2012

CCSA hosted a National Grade 8 Referee Licensing Course in Newport the weekend of April 7th and 8th.  We had 3 participants from the Newport area.  This entry-level course consisted of 16 hours of intensive and comprehensive referee education on rules and regulations, which included a field session and a written test.  All of our participants obtained a passing grade and have officially become our new U.S. Soccer Federation Referees.

The course was provided by the Oregon Referee Committee. Congratulations new young-men referees!
